Your Grooveshark Account

Updating Account Information
You can update your account information including your email address, password, profile picture, and account and billing preferences, from your account settings.

Using the old design: Click on your display name in the upper right corner and select "Settings".

Using the new design: Click on the gear icon next to your display name in the upper right corner and select "Settings".

Alternatively, you can go directly to your Settings page by clicking here.
 
Resetting Your Password
If you forgot your Grooveshark password, no problem: just go to Grooveshark and click "Sign In" then "Reset Your Password". This cannot be done on mobile devices.

NOTE: If you signed up for Grooveshark through Google, Twitter or Facebook, we need to assign you a Grooveshark password when you reset. To do this, please email support@grooveshark.com and we'll help you out ASAP.

 

Deleting Your Grooveshark Account
To deactivate your account, simply navigate to the Settings menu in Grooveshark and click "Account" (or click here!) and choose the 'deactivate' option.

If you'd like to reactivate your account, please email support@grooveshark.com.

 

Changing Your Theme
You can change your Grooveshark theme at any point.

Using the old design: Go to the Home screen (by clicking the Grooveshark logo in the upper left hand corner) and select the “Themes” link in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Using the new design: Click on the gear icon next to your display name in the top right corner and select "Settings". You can then choose the "Theme" tag. Make sure to click save. You now have the option to define any color you'd like with our color picker.

Privacy
Our privacy tools relate to your activity on Grooveshark. To prevent any users from seeing your *new* Activity and Recent Listens, please go to Preferences and under the Music/Activity Privacy section choose the Private option. It is not possible to hide your Collection or Playlists.

To remove Recent Listens, go to your Profile page and select "See All" next to Recent Listens. On the full Recent Listens page you will see rows of songs you've recently enjoyed on Grooveshark. If you'd like to remove any of these events, just click the "X" on that song row. This will also remove the suggestion from your personalized station.
