Grooveshark Radio Campaigns

Last Updated: Feb 07, 2012 06:02PM EST
Radio campaigns grow your audience by targeting fans of in-demand similar artists with your music.  The campaign intelligently recommends the songs you choose to promote on Grooveshark Radio until the fixed number of spins run out. From the first play to the last, you can track both the campaigns progress and your explosive growth on Grooveshark with the analytic data we collect and unravel for you.

If you're interested in setting up a campaign for yourself, your band, or a group that you manage, please visit artists.grooveshark.com/promotions

In Radio, What are "smiles" and "frowns"?
Users can "smile" or "frown" a song to indicate whether they like the recommended song during their Radio session. Based on their rating the song will either increase or decrease in prevalence within Radio.

What does 'good rec' mean when applied to similar artists during a campaign. What is being measured?
A good rec is when over 50% of the people who were recommended the song gave a smile or finished playing the recommended song. A bad rec is when less than 25% of these people bothered finishing the song.
