Favorited songs that are removed from My Music are removed from Favorites as well.

  • Collaborative Playlists

Friends and music lovers, the moment has arrived when you can enjoy creating and curating playlists simultaneously with your friends!

    Step One - The Playlist

Make a playlist! Or you can take one of the playlists that you've already created and make it collaborative. Any playlist will do, really.
If you have any questions on making playlists, check out this article.

Step Two - Sharing Is Caring

Once you are viewing your playlist page, in order to collaborate, you need to enable the feature by clicking "Collaborate On" from the drop down menu pictured above.

Step Three - Invite Your Friends!

Great job! Now that you've enabled collaborating on your playlist, you should invite some friends to your playlist.

PROTIP: You can only invite friends to collaborate if you are mutually following each other (i.e., friends who you are Following and who have followed you back).

Step Four - You're Doing It!

Now that you have selected the friends that you want to follow, click "Invite" and they will be able to collaboratively edit your playlist with you, with all collaborators seeing any edits in real time.

To remove a specific collaborator from your playlist, click the "x" next to their name in the Collaborators section pictured above.

PROTIP: You can have up to 15 collaborators per playlist!

    Step Five - Getting Invited

When you invite your friends to collaborate on a playlist, they will receive a notification similar to the one pictured above, linking them to the playlist.

They'll also get this spiffy email notification! Keep an eye on your inbox for your own invites. :)

You should be all set to start enjoying collaborative playlists now, but if you are experience any problems or difficulties with collaborative playlists or have any awesome suggestions on how we can continue to improve, please email us at support@grooveshark.com -- we're always stoked to hear from you.
