  • Your Grooveshark Account

    Updating Account Information
    You may update your Grooveshark profile from the Settings menu. You may access the Settings menu from the gear icon beside your Notifications bell.


     
    Resetting Your Password
    You may reset the password to your Grooveshark account from the Sign In window.


    Please note that if your Grooveshark account was created via 3rd party (like Google or Twitter), you will need a password assigned manually. Please email support@grooveshark.com and we will help you out ASAP!

    Deactivating Your Grooveshark Account
    To deactivate your Grooveshark account, go to Settings > Account and scroll to the bottom of the page. You may also access account settings by clicking here.


    Changing Your Cover Photo
    You may change your Grooveshark Cover photo by going to your Profile page and hovering the Cover photo area. You may upload a profile image by clicking the profile image icon. Please make sure to comply with Grooveshark's Terms of Service before assigning an image to your profile.


    Privacy
    You may edit your Grooveshark privacy options by going to Settings > Preferences. You will see options for Music/Activity Privacy, Online Visibility as well as Notifications and email preferences. You may access Preferences by clicking here. Music/Activity Privacy determines who can see your recent listens on your profile page. Note: Setting your Music/Activity Privacy to "Private" will prevent scrobbling to Last.fm. Online Visibility controls your online status and who can join any broadcasts you start.

  • Updating Your Billing Information

    Note: The option to update credit card information is not yet available through the native Grooveshark mobile apps. If your subscription is billed through PayPal, you just need to update the billing info on your PayPal account.

    Desktop Website

    You may update the billing info attached to your subscription by signing in to your Grooveshark account, going to Subscription Settings and selecting the option to Update Credit Card (image below).



    Then select the option to Change Credit Card. Screenshot below.
     


    Mobile Site 

    You may update the credit card from a mobile device by clicking the Subscription option and selecting the option to Update Credit Card (Images Below).


     

     
    Then select the option to Change Credit Card and input the new card details (Image Below)

  • Playlists

     
    How do I create a playlist?
    Playlists make it easy to quickly bring up a list of your favorite songs or collection of genres. Playlists can contain up to 2500 songs. Playlists may be created by clicking the Create Playlist button your Playlists page. You may also click "New Playlist" in the sidebar under "Your Playlists."

     
    How do I add songs to a playlist from search
    To add songs to a Playlist from search results, click the Add to ... icon, selecting the Playlist you wish to add the song to. 
     
    To add individual songs from your queue to a Playlist, drag the songs from the queue to the playlist or hover the song and click the More Options icon (...). You may add the currently playing song in the player by clicking the "Add to" icon.

    You may also add all of the songs in your queue to a Playlist by clicking the Queue menu > Save Songs > Save as Playlist.
     

     

    How do I remove song(s) a playlist?
    You may remove multiple songs from a playlist by opening the playlist, highlighting the song(s) and selecting "Remove" in the song grid. Here's a screenshot to help.


    NOTE: You can group select multiple song rows. There are three types of group selection.

    1) Individually selecting multiple songs. Hold the the command key (Mac OS X) or cntrl key (Windows OS) and click the song rows you'd like to select.

    2) Select consecutive group of songs. Select the first song row you'd like, scroll to the final song row, hold the Shift key and click the final row. Now your consecutive song group will be selected. This is a good tool to use if you are only trying to select a consecutive portion of songs from a larger list. For example, if you only want to select songs #15-40 from a playlist.

    3) Select all songs. To select all songs, select any song row in the list and hold the cntrl + a. This will select all rows in the list. Use then when you'd like to select all songs on a page.
    How do I import a playlist into Grooveshark?

    You can use Groovylists to export your Spotify, Last.fm, and iTunes playlists to Grooveshark. If you have any questions about Groovylists, please email Tommie Podzemski at Tommie@Tommie.nu.

     

    How do I backup a playlist?
    Check out Groovebackup.com to export your Playlist into a text file format.

  • How do I edit a playlist?

    You may edit a Playlist by clicking the "Edit Info" option on the respective Playlist. This will allow you to change the Title, Description or Genre of your playlist. You may also delete the playlist from the Edit Info view. Here's a screenshot.
